School Performance

Yesterday was one of my most proudest moments as a mother.
As its coming to the end of the school year all the "Early Learning" (Pre-Kinder) classes at Poppy's school put on a performance for all the Mum's, Dad's, Brothers, Sisters, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents and anyone else they wanted to invite.
It was set in the gorgeous gardens of our school under some huge willow trees, we listened as the teachers read Christmas stories, the children then made some fluffy sheep for the nativity story and then they all sang us some beautiful songs. My proudest moment was when they all started singing, they were mostly songs I hadn't heard before and Poppy knew all the words, I had heard her on her baby monitor for the last few weeks singing away to herself in her room but I had no idea what she was singing, it was all a big secret.
We then went to her class room for a morning tea and a slide show of all the photos from the year and Poppy gave us a gorgeous framed drawing she had done of all her family.
She has two more days of school left then I can't believe she will be starting Kinder next year! Time sure does fly.
