Strawberry fields

My three eat fruit, lots of fruit. A punnet of blueberries, doesn't usually make it home from the supermarket. We grow some of our own fruit but really a few (twenty or more) strawberry plants is no match for my three.

We often pick our own berries this time of year, weather its blackberries at the farm (or side of road), raspberries from here or most other berries (loganberries, cherries, gooseberries, boysenberries, marionberries, silvenberries) from the berry farm, which is where we headed yesterday.

Strawberries were our fruit of choice yesterday they were so amazing, big and juicy, compared to mine this year, we didn't have very many on our plants and they were all small (perhaps little fingers picked them too soon!)

We came home with three kilos of strawberries and three very muddy, full children.
