Weekly Stills

We made yummy salsa

We spend evenings at the park, making the most of the last warm(ish) nights.

We swam

They snooped

Tommy and I attended a charity ball for camp quality

We preserved and bottled

We picked figs from the tree (perhaps a little too early)

A lot of great preserving went on this week, mainly from my Dad, but we did chip in and help where we could (it's a bit hard boiling and bottling with little ones under your feet.), He does such a great job, bottling pasata, sauce, fruits and beets, as well as blanching and freezing veggies and more for the winter months, making the most of the high quantities in these warmer months.

We have so much going on at the moment, moving house in the next few months is a huge weight on my mind, but larger spaces are on the horizon, and that's always great!

Tommy and I had a well deserved outing on Friday night to the camp quality giggle ball and auction, we won some goodies, gave to this great charity and had a fantastic night out with friends.

I would love to check out your week, leave me a comment and I will drop by your blog.

Happy Sunday!! xx

P.S. Have you entered my $100 Target gift card give away?! It's drawn tomorrow. Good luck. x

  1. Your preserves look fab. I had hoped we might fire up our Vacola this weekend..but time ran out. Having preserves in the cupboard is really satisfying don't you think? Great photos Holli. I hope you have a nice week x

  2. I am so jealous of your preserves!!! BUT I did make salsa too. I really, really have to make my sauerkraut before my cabbage goes bad but it is so hard to get it done with littles around. Here's to the last days of summer!!
