Weekly Stills

They painted.

We gardened.

We visited the river.

We played on the swing.

We baked banana bread.

We visited the snow.

We have just gotten back from a beautiful day in the snow with friends. Everyone was tired and hungry and after a big feed my little ones are tucked up in bed.

We are so lucky to live in a state where we can drive one hour one way and be at the beach and an hour the other and we are playing in the snow.

This week is full of appointments, a few birthdays and a night away for me is in the works, fancy that!

I hope you had a lovely Sunday, we sure did.

  1. Beautiful photos :) Where did you find that snow (is that the ocean in the background?!)? I'm new to Tas (Launceston) and my kids would love an outing to see snow!

    1. Hi Sarah, We went to The Great Lakes (Or The "Western Tiers") which is easy to get to, free, and has enough snow for the kids to play in (The water in the background is the great lake) about an 1hr from Launnie. Ben Lomond is also great for snow fun with lifts etc for snowboarding but is a bit harder to get up, need snow chains and a parks pass. x

  2. Thanks, Holli! Will look into that - maybe for the weekend! x

I love that you have stopped by, and love reading your thoughts and opions, thanks for sharing. xx
