Pantene Beautiful Lengths

I recently chopped this long ponytail from my head, the minute it was cut off I felt so much lighter. I had been growing my hair for three years to reach this length. I would have had a cut before then but I was growing it for as long as I could stand it as I donated my locks to Pantene Beautiful Lengths which supports women with cancer by providing free real-hair wigs to women who have lost their locks through treatment.

The last time I had, had a proper cut was just after the twins were born and I wanted the easiest possible hair style to suit my busy life. Since then I have been growing it and sticking to the guide lines so that I could donate to this great cause, such as your donation has to be a minimum of 20cms (I donated 26cms), not be dyed or bleached, not more than 5% grey hair and there are more guidelines and information on how to donate on the Pantene Beautiful Lengths website.

In the end I was left with a lovely new summery do to start the new year with and my hair has been sent off to be made into a wig for someone who needs it more than me.

A win, win in my book.

Would you think about skipping a trim and giving some of your hair to this cause?

Happy Summer Days. xx

I love that you have stopped by, and love reading your thoughts and opions, thanks for sharing. xx
