Pizza dough

We love Pizza around here (who doesn't), we are lucky enough to have a pizza oven and love making our own dough as it's so much cheaper, and always better than store bought.

I usually make a big batch, (ten times the recipe below) wrap the extra doughs up in in cling wrap and freeze in single portions then when we plan to have a pizza night get the dough out in the morning and let defrost all day.

Here is my favourite dough recipe.

What you'll need:
1 tsp dried yeast
1/4 tsp caster sugar
3/4 cup warm water
1 1/2 cups plain flour
1/2 tsp salt

What to do:
Combine the yeast, sugar and water in a bowl.
Set aside in a warm place for 10 minutes or until bubbles appear.
Place the flour and salt in a bowl and make a well in the centre.
Add the yeast mixture and stir until it comes together.
Cover with a tea towel and set aside in a warm place for 20–30 minutes or until the dough has doubled in size.
Sprinkle extra flour on the bench so the dough doesn't stick and roll out your pizza base.

Enjoy. xx
